This is about as retro a diner as you'll find. Some of these booths had to be original from the 70's at least. I have no idea how they could have lasted this long.
I had the chilaquiles and they were great. All the breakfast items at our table looked fantastic.
The 3 and a half star rating here is about right. I'm sure there are other breakfast options that are better, but it's a fun neighborhood-y diversion. Worth a try if you're the kind who gets bored with the trendy options. -

Great breakfast and REALLY good burgers! The eggs benedict with the chorizo "sauce" was KILLER!!!!!!!
Come on a Tuesday and get 2 fer 1 burger prices..
Do yerself a favor and get the stuffed BBQ burger instead of the butter burger that everyone raves about.. it's WAY mo better imo;) -

The WORST. I've eaten here a few times because it's the only place within walking distance that serves breakfast. First off, lack of variety. Poor food quality. Omelettes- you have to tell them to melt the cheese. They act like it's uncommon to want melted cheese in an omelette. Eggs Benedict - the hollandaise tastes funky. Hash browns come with tons of salt, so don't re-salt them unknowingly! Service is crappy and the people are always sitting around on their cell phones. Prices keep going up for no reason. Skip this place if you're not desperate for breakfast food with no car.

Omg! Best place. I went for breakfast, loved the french toast and pancakes. It's got a mom and pop old 50's diner vibe. Loved it. So good

Quick easy breakfast with a hometown dinner feel. Prices were reasonable for San Diego. Would stop back again.
